The first lecture under that workshop took place on 7 December 2019 - 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
*A heartfelt recognition for COVID care!* 😊
2019, the world was hit by the COVID pandemic, which called for a quick response worldwide. Being a Physician & Diabetologist, I was one of the million frontline soldiers from day one. During this period, I treated patients of all ages. Most recovered, while a few developed complications and couldn't sail through.
Apart from making us better doctors, these learnings motivated me to do more for society. Along with my colleagues, I set up a private-hospital equivalent, free oxygen bed facility for the not so privileged, healthy nutrition for expecting mothers and screening camps for people with comorbidities. The support of local governing bodies, institutions, NGOs, eminent citizens and fellow doctors was vital in making this possible.
Making a difference in people's life was already satisfying for me & my team at Kapila Nari Trust. And now, after being recognised by the "World Book of Records London", we are charged up to do more...
A big thank you to everyone!! Jai Hind 🇮🇳
