CGMS
Continuous Glucose Monitoring Services is a special investigation offered for all uncontrolled type IDM, type 2 & pregnant female diabetes. A small chip is fitted over skin and a small silastic tube enters inside the skin to keep measuring glucose level continuously. The data from the chip is transmitted by bluetooth device and graphical representation od glucose values is obtained. The chip is securely kept for 2 weeks & in some cases 4-5 days to better understand the variations in blood glucose. |
